Katie is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has worked in education in some capacity for most of her adult life, starting in a Before and After School Program at an elementary school. She then went on to teach preschool, and managed Family Service Workers with the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs. During the past 6 years, she has been homeschooling her three children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and gardening.
